The Reward Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Total Rewards EMEA in ensuring the EMEA reward plans are competitive, affordable, and operationally compliant.


This position is responsible for the operational management of the UK benefits plans and UK car schemes, completion and analysis of EMEA benchmarking surveys, EMEA compensation & benefits reporting and monitoring budget spend. The position also supports on Reward projects as required.


*Please note that this is a fixed term contract till October 2018*


Day to day Management of any UK benefits plans  

  • Monitor and manage  the day to day administration of the UK Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Pension plan, EAP and Voluntary benefits; Liaising with the employee benefits external providers ensuring  accuracy and compliance of the processes as well as coordinating the exchange of employee data – starters / leavers / plan entitlements
  • Prepare the data and co-ordinate with external providers the annual renewals under the  UK benefit scheme
    • Ensures accuracy of compensation and benefits employee data in the ADP GlobalView system and timely coordination of this data and submission to appropriate vendors.
    • Ensure all providers’ invoices are correct and any cross charges are actioned, liaising with accounts as required to resolve queries 
  • Support the Senior Manager with data analysis during the vendor selection process as required
  • Schedule/conduct employee education sessions as needed e.g.  Wellness fairs,  and ensure the changes to the benefits package is communicated to new starters as well as the HCD team
  • Coordinate the  communications and promotion of  voluntary benefits (ie BHSF and MyLifestyle
    • Develops communications and composes reward information for the company Intranet and new starter orientations 
  • Assist employees with benefits queries
  • Undertake regular reviews with vendors to identify and improve participation, understanding and to resolve any administration or compliance issues 


UK Fleet Coordination 

  • Responsible for day to day management of the Fleet Management supplier, monitoring performance against service level requirements and liaising to resolve any queries/issues
  • Main contact for employees and management on any company car queries/issues, coordinating new car orders, reallocations and returns and ensuring policy compliance and cost minimisation
  • Ensure drivers are compliant with the UK car policy, i.e. coordinating driving training for high risk drivers, oversee the management of licence checks, deduction of penalties and fines, etc.
  • Ensure all car invoices are correct and any cross charges are actioned, liaising with accounts as required to resolve queries
  • Ensure all driver or company car records are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Coordinate all fuel cards and ensure all mileage records are up to date and accurate, de-activating leavers cards promptly.
  • Oversee reimbursement of fuel costs for private mileage in a timely manner to avoid any tax liability arising


Salary/benefits survey participation and completion

  • Support the Senior Manager in the completion and analysis of salary and benefit surveys, ensuring that accurate benchmarking information is recorded and maintained
  • Assists with administration of annual merit and salary planning process. 
  • May assist with annual salary budgeting process and any compensation related processes and projects
  • May answer compensation queries from HR Business Partners, managers and employees. Analyzes and researches compensation issues and recommends solutions to Rewards Manager.
  • Assists with administration of STI and LTI programs;
  • May assist with coordination of expatriate assignments and coordinate the tax matters with external vendors


Reporting & Analysis / Monitoring budget spend 

  • Analyse, model and reconcile complex pay and benefits data as required, ensuring high quality and accuracy at all times
  • Create and produce regular EMEA Reward & Benefits  “dashboard” reporting
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are correct, approved at the appropriate level and forwarded to Finance promptly
  • Monitor spend vs. budget, highlighting potential overspends to Senior Manager


Other/Project Support 

  • Assisting with any special projects or adhoc work such as policy reviews, contractual terms reviews, harmonisation or integration projects as required by Senior Manager.


  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • A high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously are essential
  • Knowledge of benefit plan policies and procedures, fleet management experience desirable
  • Good Vendor management skills
  • Good influencing, communication and relationship building skills. Good coordination skills and attention to the detail essential
