Supply and production/ purchase planning in collaboration with a wide range of third party suppliers, to satisfy the needs of the business, to ensure effective “ end to end “ supply of finished goods.


Supply plans created taking into consideration Out of  Stock / service to customer, Inventory levels / days on hand and obsolescence.


Effective Replenishment of International markets  (USA ,Germany, Australia and Asia ) by planning the production / vendor supply requirements, creating the forward requisitions and generating intercompany stock transfer orders.


The role covers the planning and management of approximately 500 finished item SKU's and approximately 350 component codes , and supports Molton Brown annual Global sales of £80M


  • Effectively replenish regional, USA ,German  and Asian warehouse stocks through the SAP Workbench by planning the production / vendor supply requirements, creating the forward requisitions and generating weekly  intercompany stock transfer orders (STOs) and placing vendor purchase orders.
  • Manage EDS  safety stock replenishment process to generate twice a month stock transfer orders (STO) to Germany.
  • Manage key vendor forward requirements, supply plans and the placement of finished goods Purchase Orders
  • Material plan and free issue raw materials  and components to  vendors in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive material status; shortage identification and resolution
  • Ensure all Stock Transfer Orders (STO) & Purchase Orders (PO) receipts are booked in correctly.
  • Support all New Product launches and range reviews. Ensure Christmas, summer and winter sales promotions   are met with  full quantities available in all markets in timely manner. 


  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, professional qualification preferred ,but not essential.

  • Supply Chain specific subject matter an advantage

  • Understanding of Materials requirements planning within a manufacturing environment

  • Min 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in cosmetic and toiletries, or FMCG business. 
  • SAP experience in working in a supply and production planning environment.
  • Proven experience of successful interaction with key stakeholders both internal and external (third party suppliers) 
  • Ability to manage the delivery of short term objectives.
  • Demonstration of effective cross functional working to achieve end result
  • Demand and supply planning experience both internally and externally (suppliers/subcontractors)

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities will change and need to be acted on quickly
