    The FSSC Operational Excellence Specialist identifies and implements process improvements that lead to greater efficiency and productivity and drive operational excellence in our Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) and with our business partners. Working closely with the SSC Managers, this role is also responsible to identify improvements in the local finance processes that can be implemented before or during the transition to the SSC. Finally, this role is responsible for the Lean implementation at the FSSC and to drive continues improvement culture.


    • Responsible to plan, coordinate and execute projects and initiatives to achieve operational excellence at the SSC. Manage project scope, timeline and deliverables, and ensure that any changes are authorized and implemented. Perform process reviews to identify non value adding activities and/or standardization and optimization opportunities among the different countries and processes managed by the FSSC;
    • Guide the operational teams to identify productivity and cost improvement opportunities and drive goal of total employee involvement in continuous improvement (CI) activities;
    • Prepare CI project reviews, integrate CI processes into daily operations and utilize CI tools (Six Sigma, Lean and TPM) to implement process improvements and effect long-term change;
    • Perform analyses and utilize metrics and reporting to identify process gaps, eliminate waste and errors, and provide quick fixes and long-term solutions. Serve as subject matter expert to review, identify and implement control systems to insure sustainability of continuous improvements. Set up and manager the FSSC KPIs and prepare monthly and/or periodic FSSC KPIs and SLs report. Collaborate with process owners to quantify the savings and benefits gained from process improvement initiatives;
    • Implement Lean at the SSC and share best practices within the FSSC as well as within business area;
    • Liaise with IT for systems optimization, enhancements and implementation of new technology;
    • Participate in transition and stabilization processes and projects as requested by management.


    • Bachelor degree in business;
    • Lean, Six Sigma qualified (bronze or higher);
    • 2 - 5 years Accounting experience;
    • At least 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement role, utilizing quality methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean) gathered in SSC (must);
    • 2 - 5 years accounting experience in multinational companies;
    • Knowledge of ERP systems and strong IT proficiencies;
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. Result oriented;
    • Language skills: English fluent;
    • Experience with, and full understanding of, internal control structures;
    • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and process mapping software (Visio, IndustryPrint).
