    • Improve hairdresser skills and knowledge to build salon business
    •  To gain, maintain and increase sales, build image, brand awareness and broadcast the brand via Education activities

    • Address salons needs to partner with salon owner and team members, engage and connect with salon staff and owner to build loyalty
    • Educators are a vital link to form strong relationship and connection with salons communicating on same level, with real hairdressing and expert color and retail experience

    • Demonstrate and train Kao salon division products and services to potential and existing accounts in your region
    • Be positive Brand Ambassador, presenting yourself and the brand exceptionally at all times
    • You will be required to stay away from home on average 3 nights whilst on your home territory
    • Be flexible and available to work outside of your given territories; be able to work trade events, evening and weekends if required with reasonable notice given
    • Use and promote only KAO Salon division, services and tools at all times when performing internal or external education activities
    • You are responsible to have KAO Salon division and industry knowledge fully up to date.
    • Complete all relevant reports and summit weekly before close of business every Friday. 
    • Maintain and fulfill all requested and expected administration tasks and reports relating to Education function.
    • Be available to present information at the BB and national education meetings to ensure all colleagues have the latest information.



    • NVQ Level 3
    • Proven industry experience in all aspects of hairdressing including retail, and have experience in team leading and basis management
    • Have a understanding of the different personalities, salon cultures, long work days and how to prioritise work load
    • Understand how a salon runs, how best to organise and run training sessions in this environment
    • Good working and technical knowledge of colourants, treatments and haircare products 
    • How to plan and run training sessions that inform, motivate and maximise the use of Kao Salon Division products
    • Able to organise working days to ensure maximum number of locations are visited and be able to plan contingencies often at last minute
    • Able to communicate effectively to influence clients to choose Kao Salon Division products every time
    • Have basis knowledge of Microsoft programs
