  • Overview

    Responsible for leading the digital strategy for Molton Brown globally. Including trading and operating 5 global ecommerce websites, leading digital strategies across third party websites/eretail, digital marketing globally, and leading the global CRM strategy and digital asset creation. As well as contributing to the omni-channel and cross channel strategies, building profitable sales, long term customer value and brand equities.



    *12 Months Fixed Term Contract*


    • Identification & leadership of strategies for eCommerce development aimed at achieving revenue & profit growth objectives. This includes the formation of plans to cover trading, technical, marketing calendar, creative, promotions and fulfilment requirements for business development. P&L operating responsibility in close matrix connection with General Managers across UK, US, EU & AU markets. 
    • Maintenance of flawless technical & functional performance standards for e/mCommerce, across virtual store estate, supporting third-party partners & own operations therein.  Partnering with Global/Local Marketing groups in delivery of brand & campaign calendar objectives, ensuring a 100% on-brand customer experience therein.
    • Definition and maximisation of analytical/reporting standards which can inform strategic thinking and management decision making for eCommerce and beyond.  Build CRM capabilities, providing omni-channel engagement, retention and acquisition actions for customers across the estate, both eCommerce & Stand Alone Stores.
    • Ensure full regulatory compliance & governance standards in accordance with territory legislation and company plans.  Optimise the mixed digital budget for ROI/learning, database development etc.
      Provide thought leadership, advocacy for digital marketing application for all Molton Brown channels/geographies.  Motivate, reward, recognise & retain a high performance culture for team of 10.
    • Management of technical infrastructure for web businesses – in collaboration w/ISD.  To spearhead and advocate adoption of emerging technologies/software and business behaviours to achieve growth plans that place Molton Brown amongst leaders in delivering a luxury eBusiness experience/result. 
    • Ownership of on-going programme of testing & continuous improvement which optimises ATG platform functionality and customer experience.  To collaborate with key stakeholders and support functions (ISD/Logistics, Customers Services, Finance & Global Marketing) and third party supplier base to define and optimise business, brand and competitive requirements of our eBusiness.
    • Delivery of both brand and campaign strategies in all areas of digital communications, including but not limited to:  Website aesthetic design & content, Website functionality & usability, Affiliate partnerships, Loyalty initiatives, Social media activation, Virul marketing animation.


    • Relevant business degree or MBA
    • Minimum of 10 years digital marketing experience, including multiple e-commerce platforms, digital marketing and CRM for a recognised e-commerce luxury/fashion oriented brand
    • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing commercial, creative multi-channel marketing and/or commerce strategy. 
    • Proven experience of introducing and leading technical and trading innovations.  Significant technical understanding of e-commerce and emerging digital technologies.
