  • Overview

    The Senior Planning Manager, Molton Brown, is a strategic, high visibility role, based in our UK factory, near to Stansted. The position reports to the EMEA Demand /Supply Planning Director and has a broad scope of responsibilities.

    • Leading the team of 6 associates (5 direct reports), responsible for S&OP, Production Planning, Third Party Manufacturing, Material Planning, Inventory & Obsolescence management.
    • Driving the achievements of annual objectives for service, inventory and obsolescence for the Molton Brown business.
    • Leading the continuous improvement of processes, planning team organization capabilities, cross-functional cooperation.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads Molton Brown (MB) Supply Chain Planning team in the day to day operational trouble-shooting in MB. For the identified issues, leads the solutions development, by connecting to other cross-functional teams (within both: Supply Chain & Commercial). Leads and control the mitigating actions implementation.
    • Leads MB S&OP - a cross-functional decision making forum and reconciliation of different functional inputs into an agreed action plan
    • Leads/sponsors various continuous improvement projects in Molton Brown

    • Manages team performance vs. targets and objectives, identifies problems and solutions, setting priorities and ensures proper execution

    • Promotes team development, cross functional cooperation and a results driven culture within direct reports by role modeling and providing feedback and coaching to team members and peers
    • As a member of the EMEA Demand & Supply Planning Leadership Team, takes part in defining the strategical objectives for the EMEA Planning organisation

    Qualifications

    • Master/bachelor Degree in numerical subjects
    • Supply chain specific certifications will be an advantage (e.g. APICS CPIM, IBF, etc.)
    • Understanding of the 'end to end' Supply chain model (procure-plan-make-deliver)
    • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain leadership position in FMCG, ideally in planning.
    • Cross-functional experience is a strong advantage.
    • Strong leadership & team motivation skills
    • Demonstrated decision making skills withing complex matrix environment
    • SAP and MRP working experience is an advantage.
